Who can ever get tired of Egyptian motifs? There seems to be countless ways you can freshen up the inspiration, including mixing it in a late 80′s science fiction way. Topshop Unique did it models slicked back hair and gold leaf blobs combed back, spandex, bomber jackets, and platform flats there were a lot of trend pieces you can latch on to, but the Egyptian hieroglyphics and gold winged shoes made for a really fun collection. I loved the gold, pink, black and turquoise palettes and heavy paneling that’s true to the Topshop aesthetic. All in all I’d say it was a fun show… and will I be wearing this next season? Let’s just say I’m practicing my Egyptian walk.

I see the influence!
Amazing clothes, pretty pictures.
Love from armarioenduddas
I love the Egyptian influence of this collection, and the gold hair of the models was not only innovative and visually interesting. But I’m not quite sure about the second picture, the dress looks a bit wacky, but in a strange way, I like the way the fabric hangs.
I always love Topshop Unique!

I love the Egyptian style in this collection! I always wanted an “evil eye” ring, or some sort of jewelry.
