It’s always easy to spot San Francisco, just by the colors of the buildings. I’ll see a window in the background of an outfit shot and know that lady is in SF. Most of the streets are lined with a multitude soft earth tones and sugary pastels, that and the occasional crazy Victorian building with intricate details. Maybe that’s the explanation of how I’ve been feeling lately, environments are often the subliminal inspiration to how I dress. Perhaps the impending spring that’s just a few weeks away, and like all seasons, I get excited about the shift, particularly spring and autumn. Autumn is when I get into new boots and coats, and spring is when I get the spring fever!
Yes…this dress is a little short, in the mirror it didn’t look that short, perhaps that’s why Alicia Silverstone in Clueless always took Polaroids of her outfits. I’m still wearing the same outfit, but I put another skirt on before I left the house properly, while it’s ok for photos, I didn’t want any real life ‘Don’t Show Cha your Chocha‘ moments. Dear God.
