As a newbie to IFB, this event sounded amazing and I'd love to see the video footage. I was in need of a bit of blog love last week after yet another rant against fashion bloggers was launched. Nothing was aimed at me personally so I wondered why I let it get to me at first. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned above about typing away at posts, cultivating a readership and pursuing a unique dream. Now that I don't work since my daughter started school, I put as much care and energy into the blog as I would a job. I care about it as I'm sure most bloggers do so I get a bit pee'd off when we get "bashed"! Anyhoo.. I didn't come here to rant but congratulate you on such an initiative and hope to be able to take part one day. Come and do one in England! x

so interesting! i'm actually writing my dissertation on fashion blogs and how consumers (blog readers) are influenced by them! i think they play a HUGE role in fashion communications...so glad that events like this bring the blogging world together :)

Well done, again and again!!!

I am sure the conference gave a lot of bloggers extra enthusiasm and motivation. It might sound as a paradox, but I think bloggers are the most insecure people ever! As you said, we are the pioneers of a new media phenomenon, we put themselves out there every day to be judged and compared, how can you not be insecure? This conference is like a milestone of success!

I can't wait to have a look at the video footage.

I wasn't able to clear my work schedule to come to NYC for the event but I was able to take a late lunch break and sit in on a live stream panel....I LOVED IT! I ADORED IT! I cannot THANK YOU enough. I learned so much and had so much fun listening to the panelists share their stories, thoughts, and advice. I was so sad that I could not be there however after the first panel I saw (which was the 2nd one of the day) all I could think about was blogging. Ever since all I can think about is blogging. Perhaps it is too early to say-but Evolving Influence changed my life. :)

Will you be planning Evolving Influence 2 for next year or making it an annual event? I will be sure to attend in PERSON this time! LOVED IT so very much! Thank you for all your hard work! :) gina
