Are you ready for 2010? Holy moly, as I’m sitting here writing this post I’m in disbelief about the changes that occurred in 2009 both on this blog and in my life. It’s been amazingly good, and amazingly hard, emotionally, and financially sometimes physically, but if you were to tell me what life would be like in 2009 I’d never believe you. I got married, moved from Germany to Chicago, traveled a great deal. The Coveted got to go to New York Fashion Week, Berlin Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Amsterdam Fashion Week and Paris a few times… and most of all I got to work on this blog and share it all with you, and it is you that makes it even possible, thank you.
So here we go into a new year, a new decade, even. Crazy, where did all the time go? But it’s good to look back and put things in perspective. I had the post-holiday blues, until going back into the archives and being reminded of all the fantastic things that happened… so if you don’t have a diary, or a blog, start one! It’s amazing what it can do! Even looking back at my outfits, it’s kind of crazy keeping this up for the last three years (almost)…

I love January, July, & November the best, but they are all really great. I am so jealous you got to go to all of those fashion weeks! Man, I need to start me a blog! Not sure anyone would want to read about all the trouble I get into thrifting with two toddlers, though. Yikes.

Man, there are some beautiful photographs in here! I feel like I saw them in a magazine. I’m so proud of you! You’ve accomplished so much since you left the 9-5 grind. You know what I’m envisioning for you in 2010? A book! Like certain books inspired you in the past to believe in yourself and take risks, I think that your story would really inspire others (and with pretty pictures to illustrate it!). If you ever do write a book (even a short one), I’ll be first in line to buy a copy!!! You’ve got to pass on the righteous message – live your dreams!! One of my 2010 goals is to start taking more outfit shots again! I just ordered a new camera, so hopefully that will happen soon! (I’d been borrowing my mom’s camera for the last year+, and it’s useless for doing self-portraits as it has no auto-timer button!)
