You might be looking at this photograph, and think… “Yeah, a picture of Jennine and Sonja.” The special thing about this, is that Sonja and I have never met in person. We have some mutual real-life friends, she’s been writing on The Coveted for over a year, and well, we never met until Friday. We met at Little Chihuahua on Divisadero for burritos with Tami from Fete a Fete and Audi from Fashion for Nerds. I embarrassed myself by asking Audi what her real life name is, and yeah, that’s her real life name. It was a great lunch, being as we were there for three hours chatting away without even realizing it! We even ran into a random bad-date, hey it’s a small city, it’s bound to happen…but this date was particularly bad, he apparently performed magic tricks that weren’t that good. Heh, and I thought I went on some random dates, like the one guy who was like 6’5″ and took ballet classes, which was ok, until he showed me the cup he had to wear. Yo! So before I digress, here are the lovely ladies…

Yesterday, I met up with the lovely Meli from Bikes and the City, at Farm Table, a cute little cafe in the Tendernob which literally had one table. The coffee looked amazing, but I opted for hot apple cider.  It was great to meet up with Meli in and hear about her adventures on her little blue bike, which by the way can pretty much make it anywhere in the Bay Area, I’m convinced.  Meli has great style, and it’s so nice to see stylish ladies who advocate bikes and not look like messengers or spandex nerds. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but come on, a girl’s gotta wear dresses!
