Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best, and some ideas are so simple, yet so innovative, it’s inspiring just to think about them. What am I going on about here? Well, Ben from Take Off Your Clothes and I did a little barter/exchange, and out of it I got this lovely double t-shirt dress. Quite honestly, I thought the t-shirt was figurative, like cotton jersey is t-shirt material, hence the t-shirt dress. But no, this dress is actually made up of two tees sewn together, the top one, worn upside down (something I’m no stranger to) and the bottom one is the skirt, and the sleeves pockets! Just genius! The only thing I would do is maybe shorten the dress a little, but then again, I’m happy to sport the below the knee skirt for once again, minis are great, but I like the variety. All in all the dress is great, comfortable, versatile, flattering and well-made. I can already tell this is going to be a dress in my regular rotation!
(and yes, this dress is certainly bike-friendly)

This dress arrived last Friday. Wore it to Beethoven in Millennium Park. Now it goes to smART symposiums in London and Paris. I do not rock it. It rocks ME. Serious, serious dress joy.
