❤ Sarah, very good points indeed. That's especially interesting about the oxidative damage theory. Thanks for chiming in!
❤ Rachel, those two are my two faves for sure. I totally prefer Medi-Matte over powder.
❤ Carla, multi-tasking products are great for saving time & money. I love when I can find good ones.
❤ LadyLUX, they don't bill themselves as a green line. But they do use a lot of natural ingredients in what appears to be significant quantities.
❤ Alicia, totally! :)

This seems like an awesome line of face products. I dig the campaign as well: in the Internet age of transparency, myths no longer work; the customer is yearning for the truth. So kudos to Cosmedicine for publishing the "23 Beauty Truths" and spilling some light on the skincare mystique. The products seem really great too. Does anyone know how natural they are?

They have an SPF 30 I've used in the past that I was pretty happy with. I didnt need to use a separate moisturizer on my face when I used it which is important to me.

❤ Skinnypurse, so many of us do but lately I'm learning that some of the highest priced lines dilute their products with cheap fillers. Lame.
❤ Tami, they're great! You should totally try them.
❤ PAPERFASHION, they totally are!
❤ Sal, definitely give them a try. Awesome stuff!
❤ Sheena, I was really impressed with the Medi-Matte, too. Works like a charm!

The Medi-Matte oil control works really well and really helped with the oil control for my face. Overall, I'd say it's a good and well priced line. I'd love to try more in the line.

A year or so ago, I got free samples of Cosmedecine products and have been using them ever since! Yea, they can be pricey, but they last forever! I love the Self Adjusting Exfoliator, and use the tinted medi-matte everyday. I don't have to wear powder or foundation anymore!

They say they're cutting out the BS and yet use utter crap like clinical trials have shown a 60% increase in protection against free radical activity induced by UV':

A) The oxidative damage theory of ageing is looking like it's probably wrong, or at least not the full story. There's little scientific evidence to directly link free radical damage to cellular ageing.

B) How would they measure that suspiciously round 60% anyway? We're talking about molecular damage here.

As for a cream containing hyaluronic acid... Yes, it is found in injectable wrinkle fillers. But that's because it's a massive, hydrated molecule that physically cannot be absorbed past the protective barrier of your skin. Most random shit with impressively scientific names they put into these creams can't. Besides, hyaluronic acid is what fills most of the matrix between your cells. You've got plenty already.

Sorry for the rant but I'm a medical student and the kind of pseudoscience they pump into these adverts to fool people who might not necessarily know the biology behind it really pisses me off. If these were proper trials, they would be published and peer-reviewed.

I love your blog and it's fresh take on fashion and beauty. Please don't let yourself be duped by these particularly hypocritical ads.
