We did it. We took the plunge, got hitched, tied the knot, took our vows, you know, got married this past Saturday!
Rocky had proposed to me in Paris a few months ago, and before we could make a proper announcement some really good things happened and we are moving to Chicago, so we had to move our wedding wayy up. So that’s what all the quiet hints were about, we really didn’t know when the date could be set until last Thursday. In that time, with the huge amount of help from Rocky’s mom we had a nice little ceremony with some close friends and family in the Bavarian countryside, it was really sweet.
We’ll be planning a more proper ceremony, as this one was really thrown together, and important people like my parents…. you know…
Anyway, here I’m wearing a dress designed by Jennifer Gilpin, and a head piece that’s really a bendy necklace, you can’t see, but I’m also wearing stirrups from American Apparel and my new shoes. Not your typical bridal gear, but I wanted to wear something special.
