Sometimes inspiration comes from the strangest places… like tea cups and cloudy days. I’ve been coveting these rosy teacups for my entire stay here… maybe it’s the spring blossoms, the warm and not quite warm days… gosh isn’t it almost summer yet? Anyway, to continue on my draping kick that’s been going on these past few weeks, I reconfigured a skirt I hardly ever wear into a blouse, it turned out there was some grey tulle underneath the pink lace that I never noticed. Mmmm, grey tulle. I think I may have to get more of that.
The dog’s wondering what’s so special about the shoes… either that or he’s planning on eating them.

Lovely tulle, and the shades of the top layer are gorgeous. I can imagine it was a fantastic skirt but sometimes the floaty and romantic look is more wearable on top, non?
