A little flying fawn landed on my head…

While we’re on the subject of childhood whimsy. I love magical animals that don’t really exist, pegasus, unicorns, ligers, minotaurs, the Lochness monster, Snuffalufagus… in fact I really can’t think of any that I don’t like, after all what have they really done to hurt any of us? Especially cute imaginary animals like fluttering fawns, upon cocktail hats. Parisian Milliner Mumure by Spirit apparently was at the Who’s Next tradeshow, but the venue was so massive I was only able to locate this standalone display. Thinking ‘of course they’ll have a website’ they do not. According to DailyCandy the whimsical hats are sold at Mercado in Los Angeles and online boutique La Boudoir de Madame. Or you’ll find these hats atop the heads of Hong Kong fashion lovers. Either way, I dont need to know much to know that I want it.

update: ligers actually do exist.
