It may be silence, but it also may be that I’ve lost my hearing from all the fireworks. Last night was delightful, nothing spectacular, we went to a home-cooked dinner party with lovely friends and lit up a bunch of fireworks (yes…that’s legal in Germany too!)

Forgetting all about ‘what to wear’… I left it to the last second to get dressed. Last night I was all about ruffles, a while back, started turning clothes on the edges, making one shoulder dresses. So I took a ruffly skirt, turned it on it’s side, wore another ruffle skirt, and a sequin tube top underneath for a ‘bra’/sweater (sequin tubes are warm arent’ they… it’s counter intuitive, but they are).
I couldn’t get any good pictures of the outfit last night, as it was dark… but I did get some great pics of the fireworks…

Seriously, the dress is too cute and the boots are fiercely fun! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I spent my New Year’s Eve at home, hopefully I will get out this year. Happy New Year!

Also I had no idea that people lit fireworks for New Year’s in Germany . . . We lit them off here but for some reason the idea of setting off fireworks on a German street seems so much more glamorous than lighting ones on a roof that have been smuggled in from Alabama.
