I usually schedule Sundays as the gratuitous lazy day. The day for laying around, taking a walk or a long run in the forest, reading stuff that have nothing to do with clothes… but since I haven’t been feeling well for the past few days, laying in bed watching Ghost Hunters International on Hulu and drinking tea… I’ve come to wonder if part of my general wellbeing could be cured by taking a proper shower and getting dressed (a cure my friend Mothra always prescribes when I’m ill).
Today I’m wearing a thrifted floral tent dress and harem pants with the Banana Republic cashmere sweater my mother gave me for Christmas. In leisure, I decided to pull out some make-up that I never wear… a black lipgloss/eyeshadow. I love the concept of a glossy black eyeshadow, but the one time I wore this particular one out in public it dripped off my eyes and I looked like a monster. Today it stayed on… so the jury is still out on it and it’s why I haven’t shared with you the brand of the eyeshadow… but I thought I’d share the aesthetic because it’s something that really inspires me right now.

I don’t know why, but I’m loving that glossy black eyeshadow. I’m going to get some today!
LOL @ looking like a monster. You certainly don’t look like one today.
The eyeshadow is gorgeous. The outift looks great and so I hope the remedy has helped!
I’m intrigued by this aesthetic!
Have you tried a layer of concealer & powder underneath it, to keep dripping?

I’m a sucker for a dark smokey eye!
I too, have been a victim of the black eyeshadow/Alice Cooper look. Heres hoping yours stays on, it looks great.
