out of all the fresh/out of the way designers on the scene that you’ve been featuring, this is the most fresh and original. i love it, esp. that middle dress! you said it so perfectly: “unlike many of the highly structured, stiff garments couture tends to conjure up, these are a bit softer, more forgiving, living.”

this woman thinks exactly the way i write poetry: how would someone doing a particular activity, in this place or age or time, react or think or feel? i imagine, then i write.

if i were to ever have my own line, that’s exactly how i would design a collection; around a woman or a man, somewhere, doing something and then, getting up to go out somewhere, exactly as they are.

can you imagine how many seasons Ms. Pill could pull off with that concept alone?
