After writing yesterday’s post about Agathe, I decided it was time to go out and shop. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in an actual shop with the intention to buy given my current financial situation, but I thought was in dire need of accessories so shopping was ok. I know I’ve been on a break form H&M for almost a year, and it’s been going remarkably well, but now that I’m in Germany and lost my bearings, it’s hard for me to find cheap accessories.
Or so I justify.
Accessory to Chance
During my H&M run, I ended up getting a pair of earrings and some black bangles. Black is nice enough and sensibly chic. But the accessories gods must have been smiling upon me because I found these pair of sunglasses in the forest on my morning run. Neon gradient wayfarer sunglasses with splatter. Holy moly. I don’t know where they are from, but I have no shame, and the person who lost them would have a difficult time tracking them back in the forest, so I thought I would help keep the ecosystem clean, and pick them up.
The Outfit
The ugly-pretty pink blouse from the shoppe had been calling me… I just love it. Trying it on again, trying to decide if I should keep it or not… I pulled out the shoulder pads. As much as I love the idea of shoulder pads, in my heart I’m not quite ready for them yet. Not in this blouse anyway. But it’s lovely to play in fun pieces I may not ordinarily wear.
