Today is one of those perfect days. I finally pulled out this black cotton jersey maxi dress I bought last year. Rocky says I’m ready for the opera, but I keep telling him, it’s cotton jersey, so it’s more like I’m wearing a giant t-shirt.

Yesterday I commented on a The Fashion-y Blog saying that I don’t really think it’s so nice to leave your bra exposed, and today, I did it. Not for any other reason other than, I’m in my own back yard, and I left all my tube tops in San Francisco.

  3. You look lovely. I love Maxi dresses they are one of my summer staples however, living in SF I usually have to put a parka on over them which completely ruins the effect. As for the bra issue I tend to agree keep them covered but if they match the color of the top or add a special touch to an outfit it’s fine for wee bit to be exposed.

  11. I love that dress! I’ve been afraid to try the maxi dress (’cause I’m convinced I’ll trip). Now I want one. Men always think thinks are dressier than they are .

  16. I never thought about maxi jersey dresses as giant t-shirts but it’s a good one ;). Anyway, just wanted to say that you look pretty when you smile! It makes a world of difference!
