as far as my kitties, i had to leave them behind for a time because there are two people who are allergic in my new house. hopefully, in a few months i can get a place where i can have them back, because after two days i miss them terribly.

but it’s really nice to be here in germany!

Two suitcases, indeed. Congratulations!

No matter how often we do it, moving is never easy. Two seasons ago, I moved under duress while I was trying to finish a graduate degree. Now after two years of stability, I am contemplating another move.

This urge to change locals, to adopt a new, pared-down lifestyle is feeling contagious to me. Hmm … I wonder how many others are thinking of moving?

Where does this desire for a new landscape come from?

… and what will I do with my cats? (Mom says she’ll take them, but still …)

you look great in this pic! i am coveting the thick woolly sox and tights….we are heading into Winter here downunder, (although, lately it has felt more like summer!)
