It’s been a while since I’ve really put some thought into my hair. Long hair can be a real pain to take care of, but when it comes to styling, it’s not hard to do. I was thinking of cutting it off… but I’m still not ready yet. And out of complete lack of inspiration, I have thought it was probably best to maintain the staus quo.
Then comes fashion week. Sweet. As much as I’m loving the waves of inspiration, especially from London and Europe, there are a few designers who have added wearable hair beyond the slicked back bun.
As a child, I remember feeling like having my hair in a bun was very grown up as I was strictly in braids, and feeling very Laura Ingles Wilder about it… you know on Little House on the Prairie, and one day, when I grow up, I could wear my hair up. Well, that never happened, until today. I have my hair up in a side bun, with these models in mind. I’m not so good with bobby pins yet, so there is a million poking in my head… but maybe with practice I’ll become a real lady.

I’ve also had long hair for years and years… There are times I think of cutting it off, too – but nah… Now seeing so many models with the super-long, super-straight hair these days, I suddenly feel very stylish!
I’m in the process of growing out my hair, it’s about shoulder length right now. I’m so jealous of these models with their beautiful long hair!
I’m feeling rather uninspired in the hair dept…. thank for the ideas!
Short hair is so in right now, not to mention, the convenience of washing it, (I hate to dry my long hair)
, so few weeks ago, I finally cut off my long hair that I had for 10 years. So far so good, I’m loving it!

A side bun sounds great. I’m very untalented with hair. All I manage to do is straighten mine.
I’m loving full hair now. Me, I wear locs and they are down to my shoulders and cut in layers for easy styling. Healthy hair is my favorite hair, though be it long or short. So, here’s to eating right and getting lots of excersise so we can have strong, shiny hair.
