Shoe D’Jour : Mostly Cuff

Maison Martin Margiela has an awesome way of changing the way an ordinary garment functions. I once saw a super long glove, and as i was putting it on, the sales lady told me it was supposed to be worn as a belt. Woops. I love how these shoe expose the part of the foot shoes normally conceal and have a chunky boot-like ankle cuff. It calls into question the function of a shoe, and at the same time, it’s utterly covetable.
