Shoe D’Jour : Shoe Fetish

Wow… these aren’t your ordinary fetish shoes…. Christian Louboutin and David Lynch paired up to make this series of photographs… there is the creepy fetish feeling, but for some reason when Louboutin does it, I feel somewhat safe.

Louboutin made shoes as true to his sketches as possible, with heels that extend beyond the outsole, making them impossible to walk in. He also created a series of art shoes based on the ballet boot, a fetish shoe that looks like a ballet slipper mixed with a high heel…. also nearly impossible to walk in. Oh my, I would sure like to see a blog post on how to walk… Of course it’s not up to most of these designers/artist to figure out how to pull these off, just weather women find them appealing enough to adopt it.
