Bay Area artist, Ala Ebtekar does some interesting art mixing his Iranian roots with American culture. Particularly influenced by local graffiti and his exiled parents desire to return to Iran after ‘the war was over’ Ebtekar creates a white washed world where nothing is completely as it seems.
There’s a particularly moving article/interview with the artist on Fecal Face.
