Usually, you would have to do something really special to get a peek into my closet. As you can see, it’s a total mess. I gave away SIX bags of clothes, and still nothing would fit in there. My boyfriend asked if he could have some closet space, so I tried clearing even more out, and a whole Ikea bag, you know, the ones made of tarp. I got that much out, and STILL it’s overflowing. Oh dear. What does a girl have to do?

Oh, I know how you feel…sort of. I got rid of all the stuff I don’t wear any more and now my closet looks empty! This is going to be painful for my wallet.

Your poor shoes! I live in an almost 110-year old house with limited closet space but have almost 200 pairs of shoes. They are not all in one closet but they are all safely protected in shoe boxes (if you don’t have a shoe box for a pair – e.g. a vintage or thrifted pair those photo storage boxes are a great cheap alternative). Then you can stack them all against the wall.
You must respect your shoes!!!

I wished we lived in the same town. I would organize it for you. I used to have a second room for a closet but with organization I fit it all inyo the tiny one I have now! Maybe hire an organizer, or ask the most organized person you know to help you out and trade a skill. There is so much potential!
