Above are a pair of shoes belonging to Queen Michelle of Kingdom of Style. She got them at Ravel in the UK, at a going-out-of-business sale? I’m not sure. But I have to post these because she put gunmetal grey ribbons in white lace-up pumps. Ah! Ribbon laces! I had a pair of purple suede shoes with ribbon laces in jr. high, I thought they were divine. It’s such a late 80’s thing, or just maybe it’s a pretty thing. And how can you not like pretty things?

Oh my, I had totally forgotten about my own deep purple ribbon lace-up shoes I had in junior high until this moment. I loooved them. I distinctly remember wearing them with pleated pants… I was fourteen not everything should be remembered.
